Established in 1976, Smoke-Free Nova Scotia (SFNS) is a provincial coalition committed to the reduced use of tobacco industry products and their harms in Nova Scotia.
A province where the air is cleaner, the public is healthier, and people are not subject to the pressures to use tobacco industry products.
Our Strategic Goals
- To support, encourage, and undertake initiatives which discourage tobacco industry products in order to promote health
- To advocate for and promote healthy public policy related to commercial tobacco and vaping products
- To increase public awareness of the harms related to tobacco, vaping and cannabis
- To support the comprehensive and collaborative approach to the commercial tobacco end game strategy
